Ed Saloga Jr.'s list of achievements
is unmatched among custom homebuilders in the past
thirteen years. He has won many national and local
awards. In 2001, he was awarded two 'Best In American
Living' awards from the National Home Builders
Association and Professional Builder Magazine. These
awards include Best One-of-a-Kind Custom Home [4001-6500
sf] and Best Home [Midwest region]. Ed's homes have also
won over thirty awards in home shows. According to the
Chicago Tribune, he topped the entire 1990 Parade of
Homes with his "Hearthstone", a traditional-style home
which proved very popular.
The "Wellington", "Dourdan", and "Wrightsway" designs
were just as popular, winning five of the most coveted
"People's Choice Awards". Ed Saloga Builders has also
won eight Icon Awards for outstanding design, as well as
many other awards. |
Ed Saloga Jr. has served as President
of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Fox Valley
and has also been on the Board of Directors for six
years. He is also an active member of the Homebuilders
Association of Illinois and the National Association of
Homebuilders. Ed attends National Custom symposiums,
seminars and shows in order to stay at the forefront of
his profession. He draws upon his natural abilities, his
Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, and his passion for
architecture. All of these things, combined with years
of carpentry experience, make each home a work of art.
He is often called upon by magazines, newspapers and
radio as an expert in the home building business.
